Wall relief sculpture: female face with flowers “Daughter of the Faun”
“Daughter of the Faun” is a contemporary wall relief sculpture by FAVNA.ART that embodies absolute inspiration. A woman lifts her face, flowers unfolding over her eyes, while a flowing, asymmetrical frame surrounds her profile. This female face wall sculpture brings together luxury, tenderness, and the sacred feeling of inspiration.
Made to order in Italy from resin, the sculpture is available in heights of 50, 100 and 150 cm, with larger sizes available on request. Choose a matte or gloss finish, pure white, cream (RAL 9001), a custom RAL colour, or artistic hand-painting by the sculpture’s creator.
An original artist-designed work, this wall relief complements the main “Daughter of the Faun” sculpture collection, carrying its distinctive imagery and meaning into a new wall-mounted form.
Absolute inspiration — the soul in bloom
There is a moment when inspiration becomes almost tangible. You draw a breath, and something within you opens. Thoughts begin to blossom, the everyday falls away, and every fibre of your being reaches towards something beyond itself.
“Daughter of the Faun” gives form to this most unearthly state of the human soul — the feeling that you are about to take flight on the petals of your own soul.
Her raised face, parted lips, and blossoming eyes hold that suspended moment. The flowers make an inner experience visible: the quiet unfolding of the soul, the tenderness and intensity of feeling so deeply that you long to create.
She invites you to recognise that feeling in yourself. To remember what moves you, what awakens your imagination, what makes the world feel suddenly larger and more alive.
A relay of inspiration across centuries
The story began with a book. While reading Irving Stone’s The Agony and the Ecstasy, the sculpture’s creator encountered the account of the young Michelangelo carving his faun. His longing to work with stone, his absorption in the act of creation, and the emotion of discovering a form within the material sparked a new creative impulse.
The book was set aside, and sculpting began.
Through days of searching, the face, neck, lips, and flowers gradually became the expression of that overwhelming feeling. An emotion awakened by another artist’s story had found a new form of its own.
This is the meaning of “Daughter of the Faun”: inspiration as a relay, passed through art, across centuries, from one soul to another. The wall relief continues that journey into the space where you live.
Perhaps, as you look at her, you will sense the unfolding of those petals too. Are they hers — or yours?

Sculptural wall art in dialogue with your interior
The relief brings a changing play of light and shadow to your wall. Daylight reveals the softness of the profile; light from the side draws out the petals and the sculptural folds of the frame. Different details emerge as the light changes, inviting you to look again.
Combining a figurative centre with an organic outline, this sculptural wall art creates an expressive focal point in a living room, entryway, or a personal space for reflection and creativity. Its flowing silhouette offers a dialogue with the surrounding architecture, while its meaning invites a more personal connection.
From an intimate accent to a large wall sculpture
The 50 cm version creates a more intimate encounter with the artwork, inviting a closer look at its details. The 100 and 150 cm versions give the same concept a larger presence, becoming a striking focal point in spacious interiors.
Each size carries the same emotion. The choice is how you wish to experience it within your space.

FAQ
1. How long does production and delivery take? Can I receive it by a specific date?
Every FAVNA.ART sculpture is handcrafted in our studio in Italy. Production time for each piece is listed in its description; delivery times to your country can be found on the Delivery & Payment page.
If you need a sculpture by a specific date or event — contact us and we'll calculate the exact timeline for your order.
If the sculpture won't arrive in time but you'd like to give it as a gift — no problem. We'll send you a printable gift certificate with all the details of the piece. You can print it locally and present it to the recipient while the sculpture is being made — an elegant way to give not only unique art, but the sweet anticipation of it.
2. Will the sculpture arrive safely? How do you pack it?
Absolutely. We developed our own heavy-duty custom packaging specifically for our pieces. Each sculpture is carefully and securely packed in individual protective materials — and the packaging is beautiful enough to be part of the gift itself. Your piece will arrive in perfect condition, ready to be displayed. Every shipment is insured and fully tracked worldwide.
3. I'm not sure about the size, how do I choose the right sculpture for my space?
We offer a free online fitting service. Send us the dimensions of the spot where you'd like to place the sculpture and a straight-on photo of the space — we'll create a 3D visualisation of the sculpture in your actual interior, verify the exact fit and, if needed, suggest suitable alternatives. You'll see the result before purchasing and know with confidence that everything will look perfect in your space.
4. Can I order a sculpture in a different colour, size, or fully custom?
Yes. We can create any of our sculptures in a different colour or size according to your wishes.
We are also a full-cycle studio and create contemporary sculptures entirely to order — for private interiors, hotels, showrooms, restaurants, beauty salons, commercial spaces, and corporate projects. We can bring your idea to life from your own sketches, or develop the concept from scratch: we'll create a preliminary 3D visualisation and conduct an online fitting in your space. We begin production only after your full approval.
Write to us at favnaarta@gmail.com or via WhatsApp — let's discuss the details of your project.
5. What are the international shipping conditions? Will I have to pay customs duties?
We deliver sculptures worldwide via FedEx and DHL — reliably, insured, and with full tracking at every stage. Within Italy we work with GLS. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
Regarding customs duties and taxes — these depend on the destination country's regulations and are not controlled by us. Buyers from EU countries pay no additional charges. Some other countries with trade agreements with Italy may also have duty-free import.
In certain countries, customs fees, VAT, or local charges may apply — this varies by region and is beyond our control. The good news: FedEx and DHL make it easy to pay any applicable fees online, directly through the shipment tracking page, without leaving home — so you won't encounter any difficulties.
We have already successfully delivered our sculptures to art lovers in 26 countries around the world — every time without issues.
If you have any questions about delivery to your country — contact us and we'll do our best to help.
6. Does the sculpture come with a certificate of authenticity?
